The Vaucluse Golf Club was first established in 1959 with a committee of 12, which was a difficult and complex process as the entire Vaucluse district was fully developed, predominantly with residential housing.
As a consequence, the Club Committee agreed that the Club's golf course would consist of 18 Putting greens across 18 residential backyards throughout Vaucluse, with a Clubless driving range located in the lounge room of Mr and Mrs Brown in Village High Road.
